Silica measurement kit
Description of product:
Since silica does not exist as discrete molecules naturally, its amount in water is measurable via compound forms such as silicon dioxide (SiO2) molecules. Moreover, owing to the electrical neutrality of SiO2 molecule, it is categorized into neither cations nor anions. The presence of silica plays a significant role in drinking and industrial water treatment plants particularly in reverse osmosis systems. As a result of presence of silica, membrane gets clogged and consequently its longevity is shortened. Thus, measuring silica indicator is essentially important.
